Quick Blog: Client Persuasion Strategy That Works, and Might Not Work

I had Facebook app on my mobile which I didn’t use. I turned off notifications too so that Facebook doesn’t ping me.

This morning I opened the app to do some setting changes on my wife’s business page on Facebook. Facebook grabbed this opportunity and showed me a video that might interest me. And it does.

I opened it. It was about smart investing. I started watching and watched for good 10 minutes.

Then I scrolled down a little and found another video.. a prank one. I clicked on it. But stopped soon after.

Facebook showed me another funny video. Then another. I kept scrolling. After 20 minutes I realized what the f**k am doing.

What happened during these twenty minutes? What worked and what did not?

Here is my analysis.

Client Persuasion Strategy:

➡️ Make an Irresistible offer to your sleeping client to bring back him to your world again.

➡️ Give him immense value and before he would about to leave, make another interesting offer.

➡️ Then another, then another until he falls in love with you.

Where it May Backfire:

❌ In the excitement of initial success don’t go too fast.

❌ Give space to your client to make him adjusted to the new, new. Give him space. Don’t rush.

❌ He is new to your world, if you go too fast to get most out of him, he may feel being harassed, or cheated or lured. And may even leave your world.

I have now uninstalled Facebook app from my mobile.
